Service Description

Join us Sunday February 5th for a Mobility & Mochas class as we celebrate Eating Disorder Awareness Week! This beginners class will teach dynamic stretch and flow to improve range of motion, freedom of movement, circulation, and posture. This is a restorative class that supports mind-body awareness and full-body recovery. **It is a mandatory requirement to bring your own Yoga Mat** After class celebrate yourself with a complimentary Latte of your choice, and provided treats! Please feel free to use this time to ask Mackenzie any questions you may have in regards to fitness, recovery, and nutrition! PROCEEDS FROM THIS CLASS WILL BE MADE OUT TO THE NATIONAL EATING DISORDER INFORMATION CLINIC Who is Mackenzie Monstera? My name is Mackenzie and I’m an online fitness coach and group fitness instructor in Toronto. My background is in pole fitness and barbell training. I’ve also recently developed a love for spin class! My personal journey with fitness has been a challenging one. I have lived experience with obesity, eating disorders, chronic dieting, and trauma. I believe that diet culture is toxic. I also believe that it’s critically important to move our bodies and incorporate balanced nutrition for long term physical and mental wellbeing. My goal is to guide my clients towards greater strength, energy, freedom of movement, empowerment, and self-efficacy. I specialize in barbell training and my programs revolve around process- and performance-based goal setting.
